Mechanical Sales Engineer

 
As a Mechanical Sales Engineer, you will contribute your technical passion and knowledge within a dynamic sales environment. Within this role, you are responsible for analyzing complex customer requests, drawing up technical concepts and translating these into competitive and technically sound cost calculations. You are a key figure in the sales process. You are able to help the customer without losing sight of finances, delivery times and technical consequences. You enjoy working on cost calculations as well as analyzing customer requests and drawing up technical solutions. You combine your own knowledge of cost prices, materials and standards with an eye for detail. You do this because you want to be proud of your work.

This is what energizes you:

• Preparing cost price calculations on behalf of the Sales Department;
• Preparing process diagrams and layout drawings;
• Preparing technical descriptions and drawings for the purpose of quotations;
• Making price requests in consultation with the Process Technology and Purchasing departments.

This is where you recognize yourself:

• At least a completed education at college level;
• At least 2 years' experience in a similar position;
• Good social and communication skills;
• You work accurately and in a structured way;
• You can work independently but also as part of a team;
• Experience with an Autocad, Plant3D or other drawing program;
• Good command of Dutch and English in word and writing (German is preferred).
